Chris. Don't disable the blog.

I regret disabling my blog old blog. It had some good posts, and every once in a while somebody clicks on an old link. I can see it in my server logs.

At Best:
Redirect each page to an exact copy of the post in your new blog, and change the header.

At medium:
Just leave it up.

At worst:
You had a post somebody actually liked and now it's gone.
