Good stuff, Chris. Like Tom, I intend to have a new site out in June dedicated to helping real people be more productive, better networked, and get a piece of that TON OF BUSINESS.

Ladies and Gentleman! I give you...Greg Swann! :)

Though of course human, Greg is like a laser guided missile when it comes to the search for truth. My time at BHB has taught me he's more pleased when shown where he may have erred than when he was absolutely right the first time out. He's about what works, excellence, and the absence of obfuscation -- intentional or not.

Your kind words are much appreciated, Chris. You said, THERE IS STILL A TON OF BUSINESS TO BE HAD. In a paradox taught to me my first weeks in the business, it was shown to me how times perceived as tough, or short on business can be fertile ground for the alert agent.

For me it was working FSBOs from Halloween on. The competition, working on the assumption it was the 'holiday season' stopped working more or less. My first few years had as many closings, give or take in Jan/Feb as in the spring/summer months. I was closing deals other agents would've had themselves.

The same principle is in play today. The consistently hard prospectors will begin doing the business other agents would have done, but for their 'throw in the towel' attitude.

Good stuff, Chris.

Willful ignorance is the same thing as evil. You put the spotlight on bad ideas...and are willing to be uncomfortable.

Also--with unchained coming, anything I can do to help?

> Are YOU Greg Swann or Jeff Corbett? If so, you can’t criticize anything…even though you’re almost always in the right. Anything you say can and will be misunderstood as hostile.

Misunderstood? I think you're too kind. IAC, I don't like to be dragged into these things, even with your gracious defense, because the implication is that I bicker. I don't. I say what I have to say and back it up with everything I can bring to bear. If you can prove me wrong, I'm in your debt. If you can prove me half-right and take me the rest of the way, so much the better. Everything else is onanism.

Chris,

While I can't, and won't comment on the "bickering etc." that's going on, I'm going to say that I'm 100% behind you on the shut up and do it idea.

There is business to be had and those of us who can do the business and have the attitudes to do it will survive.

I'm working on some ideas that will change my site into that sort of a positive, let's arm ourselves with the knowledge and go out and do it kind of information. I hope to roll it out by June 1.

Stay tuned and keep in touch.

Thanks for the kind words Chris.

Unfortunately, I have made the mistake of saying a bad word about someone in "RE.net", and regret it deeply. Basically, two relationships burned over a stupid argument about an unimportant (to me) topic.

Now, I just try to always move forward.
