		<description>Great article - this resonates with me, as I have one major rule in inetractions with people: Don&#039;t be mean. It took me 38 years to find the courage, but I no longer tolerate meanness from other people - either directed at me or at others. I&#039;m not saying we all have to like or even agree with each other. But there&#039;s absolutely no reason to be mean or nasty. I won&#039;t tolerateit in others, and I absolutely don&#039;t tolerate it in my child.

Great lesson to teach your kids - and I&#039;m glad you were able to change and become someone who doesn&#039;t want it in his life.</description>

This is very insightful and I wish I had learned these lessons earlier on.

One thing I&#039;ve found to be true...  Those peers who are with you poking fun at the either person, will very easily poke fun at you; when you aren&#039;t around.</description>
