Very nice Chris, and congrats on the new baby. Our first is a junior at Washington State University (she's only 18!), and our last (of 5) is 3 years old, so we have our plate full. Regarding peak experiences. We were fortunate enough to have gone through the recession of the 1980/90s. I didn't think we would make it financially, but we did. Through it all we learned that things will not make us happy, but the events, relationships, and 'peak experiences' are what carry us through.
